The hiking trail called ”The coastal path” is one of the most exciting and most beautiful hiking trails in Western Sweden. It consists of a continuous trail between Uddevalla and Sotenäs, as well as a number of short circular trails and separate sections stages along the Bohuslän coastline. Hence, the trail offers a large variety of different hiking opportunities along the coast, for both one-day trips and longer hikes.

The vast majority of stages can be reached by both car and public transport. Along several of them there is a good range of service.
